European Business Centre

This includes the Norwegian Business Centre and is based in the Fabriam Centre at Cobalt Business Park in North Tyneside. It is a joint initiative between One NorthEast and the Tyne and Wear Development Company.

It provides a free short-term facility in a professional environment from which European businesses new to the region can explore national and other European markets.

Companies located at the centre are supported by managers knowledgeable in both European and UK business methods. They can assist with business development and marketing, and in sourcing grants and funding.

Facilities and services offered by the centre include:

• Low cost, very flexible, quality office accommodation
• High-speed telecommunications, including wireless broadband access
• Conference and meetings
• Networking opportunities with companies in the centre and introductions to the regional and national business community
• Access to local business support
• Bi-lingual administrative staff
